PURPOSE:To generate voice for a long period even at the reproducing of a specific picture such as a static picture by reproducing a picture signal and an aural signal recorded in independent tracks by a main pickup and a sub-pickup respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a video disc 9 having a picture signal recording part 1 and an aural signal recording part 2 is reproduced, an output from a main voice demodulation circuit 17 is inputted to a sub-aural signal information processing circuit 19, information signal for reproducing a voice signal corresponding to a picture from the main pickup 10 is sent to a sub-pickup driving part 13, the sub- pickup 11 is driven and the channel information is sent to a sub-aural demodulation circuit 18. The output of the circuit 18 is processed by a voice signal processing circuit 20 and an aural signal 21 is outputted. On the other hand, a signal taken out from the main pickup 10 is separated into a picture signal and an aural signal by an FM demodulation circuit 14, the picture signal processed by a picture signal processing circuit 15 is outputted 16 and the aural signal is sent and demodulated to/by the circuit 17. Sound corresponding to a static picture is taken out by the sub-pickup 11.
