<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a pump which seals fluid with a small sliding resistance and resists a high pressure by pressing a variable cylindrical seal in parallel to a shaft concentric to an inner cylinder onto a seal guide in parallel to the shaft and pushing-in said seal into a leak gap. CONSTITUTION:A variable cylindrical seal 10 is pressed onto a funnel-shaped seal guide 8 in conical form in the seal part by a spring 12 and a guide 13, and pressed into a leak gap 28 by the action of the conical surface, and the gap 28 between the seal guide 8 and a piston 2 can be closely sealed, and the part between the seal guide 8 and a cylinder 2 can be closely sealed by a seal 9 and a pressing flange 7. If a hole 11 is formed onto the guide 13, seal 10, etc., the seal 10 is applied only with the force in prallel to a shaft. With such constitution, a pump which develops sealing action with a small sliding resistance and resists a high pressure can be obtained.</p> |
