A method of treating Dutch Elm disease in trees comprises spraying the trees with hydrated volcanic ash, applying to the ground in the area between the trunk and the drip line of the tree dehydrated live sea kelp of the species Macrocystis Pyrifera, and polarising the trees. The tree is polarised either by burying in the ground, in the area between the trunk and the drip line of the tree two copper pipes one North and one South of the tree and two tin pipes one East and one West of the tree, each of the pipes being vertical and containing dehydrated live sea kelp or by coiling a length of copper tubing about the tree in a clockwise direction.
|
