<p>PURPOSE:A ceramic material for testing that is mainly composed of SiO2, B2O3, Na2O and so on, thus being suitably used to know the properties of alloys for sintering dental ceramics. CONSTITUTION:The objective ceramic material is composed of (A) 35-50wt% of SiO2, (B) 15-18wt% of B2O3, (C) 7-10wt% of NaO, (D) 2-4wt% of Al2O3, (E) 2-3wt% of ZnO3, (F) 1-2wt% of K2O, (G) 2-3wt% of Li2O and (H) 3-4wt% of fluorides of SiO2 and Na2O and becomes clear by sintering. The ceramic material is used to predict the color change in the preparation of ceramic crown for dental purposes by coating it on the surface to be sintered of the alloy to form a clear glass layer by heating and inspecting with naked eyes the changes caused by precipitation or dissipation of the elements in the alloy into the clear ceramic.</p> |
