PURPOSE:To prevent a mirror from being damaged by hitting a wall or the like in time of garaging a car, by making a door mirror tiltable down to the body side as well as restorable to its original state with switch operation from the inside of a car room. CONSTITUTION:When a select switch 11 is turned on, a motor 107 rotates, and with rotation of this motor, a turning gear 105 to be engaged with a gear is turned round whereby a fixed gear 104 to be engaged with this turning gear 105 is turned round as much as a portion for the specified angle by means of a stopper hole 104b. With this constitution, a mirror case 6 and a hinge case 5 have so far been in a state of being solidly fixed by a stopper projection part, though, they come into a state of being separated by means of downward motion of a stopper cam, so that the mirror case 6 is made rotatable with a shaft 8 as a center. In addition, when rotation is given to the gear 105 by the motor 107, the gar 105 serves as a planetary gear, thus the mirror case 6 turns round. |
