PURPOSE:To provide a two-pack polyurethane adhesive for polyester films, which has excellent durability, consisting of a specified polyurethane resin, a polyisocyanate and an org. solvent. CONSTITUTION:A hydroxyl group-terminated polyurethane resin obtd. by reacting a polyester diol (a) having an average MW of 500-10,000, composed of an acid component consisting of 0.2-0.8mol of terephthalic acid and 0.8-0.2mol of adipic acid and a polyol component consisting of 1,6-hexanediol and 0.9-0.1mol of neopentyl glycol, with an org. diisocyanate (b) such as isophorone diisocyanate, is used. 1-20pts.wt. polyisocyanate (e.g. trimethylolpropane adduct of a diisocyanate) is added to an org. solvent (toluene) soln. of 100pts.wt. said polyurethane resin.
