PURPOSE:To increase the heat exhausting property of the titled device, to prevent the partial denaturalization of a sensitive material and to stabilize the picture quality by providing a cross-flow type fan as a device for exhausting air within the titled machine. CONSTITUTION:On the back surface of a main body 1 of the copying machine 1 is formed the cross-flow type fan 4. By rotating water wheel shaped impellers 5 disposed on the right and left sides of the fan 4, air within the machine is exhausted downward, whereby the temperature within the machine is prevented from rising by heat from a heat generating source such as motors, heaters and the like. In this case, since the inside air flows through an exhaust port 7 in a uniform flow out of the machine, a possibility of heat being locally standstill such as generation of a heat accumulation within the machine is reduced, and hence it is possible to prevent the sensitive material from being partially denatured and to obtain a copy of an excellent picture quality. |
