PURPOSE:To simplify a structure by engaging a lock member and a lock arm in a state that the moving directions cross each other vertically. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic head 8 oscillates a position of points 8a-8b in the direction as indicated with an arrow A, a lock pin 31 oscillates between points 31a-31b. When the pin 31 is positioned at the point 31b, for instance, the head 8 is on a CSS zone. In this case, when a rotational center 30c of a lock arm 30 is placed on a tangential line in the point 31b on a moving locus of the pin 31, the rotating direction of the arm and the rotating direction of the pin criss each other vertically. Accordingly, in a state that the pin 31 is engaged to an engaging part 30', it is unnecessary to ad a detaining force to the lock arm. In this case, the arm 30 is energized in the direction as indicated with an arrow C by a spring 32 in order that the arm 30 is not separated from the pin 31 by a large vibration, and accordingly, a large tension is not required. |
