In a coupling support for a rail-borne vehicle, especially a model railway, with a rotary bearing for the coupling support which is guided to be displaceable on the vehicle in the longitudinal direction and with a guide element retained on the coupling support which is displaceably guided on a guide track on the vehicle which is symmetrical to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, the guide track being, in a central region of the vehicle, further away from the end face of the vehicle than it is at its end regions adjoining the sides of the vehicle, in order to achieve a defined position of the coupling support for straight-ahead running and to improve the guiding of the coupling support along the guide track, it is proposed that the guide element have a holder which is mounted on the coupling support to be rotatable about a vertical axis and has two guide members arranged side by side at a distance apart and bearing on the guide track, that the guide track form, in its middle part, a projection pointing away from the end face and adjoined on both sides by a track section extending towards the end face, and that the guide members, in the straight-ahead position, each bear on opposite sides of the projection.
