The invention relates to a ventilation system for a partial blocking of the draught occurring through the opened windows, the said system consisting of a transparent, or even non-transparent curtain which is located on a spring-mounted tensioning roller and provided with slots which are permeable to air, it being possible, after opening the window, to unroll and, after closing roll up again the curtain automatically as a result of a direct adhesive connection to the window. In addition, a clamping rod can also be used, which rod brings the curtain into contact with the window or separates it from the window by merely squeezing and releasing. Independence of the direct connection of the clamping rod with the pane is also possible insofar as two rail bars which are attached to the periphery of the window receive with their hook-in elements the clamping rod with ventilation curtain in different positions. In door panes which are not rectangular in shape, the ventilation curtain is attached predominantly with hook-in eyes. In order to cover a partial area of an opened window, a spring tensioning roller with two sub-curtains can also be used with this form of window.
