Replaceable picture mounting

A replaceable picture mounting (1) has a rear wall (3), a cover (4) if necessary and clamping clasps (2) or similar resilient holding devices for holding together the said parts and a picture, which clasps or holding devices take hold of the parts to be held together in their edge regions using a holding hook (6) and a claw (5) situated on the latter. The clamping clasp (2) penetrates in each case an opening (7) of a U-shaped fastening element (8) anchored to the rear wall (3), can be pushed from the edge (10) of the picture in question towards the middle of the picture and has a catch (9) which interacts with the fastening element (8) in the holding position. That end of the clamping clasp (2) which faces the middle of the picture is formed by a bend (11), from which extend two legs (12 and 13) which are subjected to the force of a spring which separates them, can be moved towards one another as they pass through the opening (7) of the fastening element (8) and the first one of which extends up to the holding hook (6). The said first leg (12) has the catch (9), whereas the second leg (13) extends in the use position between the first leg (12) and the rear wall and is supported on the rear wall (3) with its end region (14) which is directed towards the edge (10) of the picture.
