PURPOSE:To secure a vehicle bed in a stable condition upon packing, to make it possible to simply and safely jack up the vehicle bed, by providing pull handles to the freed ends of support rods for elevating the vehicle bed. CONSTITUTION:A cross-beam 4 has both opened ends which are fitted onto support rods 5, so that it is telescopically extendable outward. The side end of each support rod 5 is attached with a block plate 17 to which an arched pull handle 6 is fixed. When the rods 5 are pushed into the cross-beam 4 to secure the block plates 17 to locking members 18, the pull handles 6 serve as rope hooks for a packing rope while when the rods 5 are pulled out by means of the pull handles 6, the support rods 5 or the pull handles 6 serve as sections each of which receives a jack 19 for elevating the machine frame.
