RECORDING SYSTEM IN VTR

摘要

The reprocuction method using a rotary recording medium reproduces the most proper standard image signals of all television broadcasting modes. The rotational speed of the disk is controlled so that the image signals recorded on the disk are equivalent to the horizontal scanning frequency of a television broadcasting mode. Therefore, the standard image siganls of different modes, reproduced by the video disk, are more compatible. No modifications in the hardware of color televisions or changes of T.V broadcasting modes are needed.
