PURPOSE:To improve an accuracy of a vane, eliminate a correcting step of a pitch of the vane and reduce the number of rivet press fitting steps by a method wherein an integrally formed vane plate is fixed to a substantial semisphere boss of the vane by rivets at the flat surface. CONSTITUTION:Each of the boss 7 of the vane and a vane plate 8 is attached to each other at their flat surfaces 7a and 8a, rivets 9 are passed through holes 10 and 12 for each of the rivets and then connected and fixed to each other. Thus, a rivet fitting operation is performed at the flat surface part, its jig may also be simple and it is not necessary to provide a large-sized press machine. No press fitting force may be applied to the curved surface 7b of the boss 7 of the vane and the curved surface 7b of the vane plate, resulting in that no deformation of the plate is found due to the press fitting step and so a yield of the vane can be improved. As a result, an accuracy of the vane is improved, a correcting step of a pitch of the vane can be eliminated and an efficiency of the rivet fitting operation can be improved.
