<p>NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I (R<1> is lower alkyl) or a salt thereof. EXAMPLE:(Z)-7-[alpha-( 2-Amino-4-thiazolyl )-alpha-( methoxyimino )acetamide]-3-(3,5-diamino-1-pyridiniomethyl)DELTA<3>-cephem-4-carboxy late. USE:An antimicrobial agent, additive for feed and preservative. PREPARATION:A starting material 7-amino-3-halogenomethyl-DELTA<3>-cephem-4-carboxylic acid of formula II (X is halogen) is reacted wih an O,N-bis(trilower alkylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide of formula III (R<2> is R<1>) and a substituted pyridine of formula IV (R<3> is H or a protecting group of the amino group), and the resultant reaction product is reacted with a substituted oxyiminothiazolylacetic acid (reactive derivative) of formula V. The protecting groups are removed if necessary to afford the aimed compound of formula I.</p> |
