PURPOSE:To shorten a cycling time and to elevate work efficiency with the possibility of simultaneous bending of both sides of a plate material having even a smaller width by providing two punches and two dies. CONSTITUTION:A bending device 1 is equipped with a lower die 2 and an upper die 3 which performs an opening and closing of a die with its vertical movement. Dies 17, 18 which are made to approach each other at the time of the opening of the dies 3, 2 with respectively intersecting direction in said opening and closing direction and to separate each other at closing time and a reinforcing plate 31 which interposes into a gap C between the dies 17, 18 at said closing time and retreats at opening time are provided for the lower die 2. A punches 41, 42 which are made to separate each other at the opening time of the dies 2, 3 with respectively intersecting direction in said opening and closing directions and to press the dies 17, 18 existing in the gap by the plate 31 at the closing time is provided for the upper die 3. Further a pad 6 for products clamping is provided on the middle part of right and left of the lower part of the upper die 3 so as to face the dies 17, 18 where the plate 31 exists at the closing time of the dies 2, 3. |
