<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a position detector wide in range of application to which a position designating magnetism generator, is not connected anywhere by winding the 1st and 2nd coils round plural magnetic distortion line bundles arrayed in parallel and performing the signal transfer between those two coils. CONSTITUTION:A position designating bar magnet 7 is set on a magnetic distortion transmission medium 1a distant away from the 1st coil 2 by a space l with the N pole turned down. Then the magnetism of such a level that increases an electric-mechanical connection coefficient is applied to the medium 1a. When a pulse current is applied to the coil 2 from a pulse current generator 3, an instantaneous magnetic field fluctuation is produced. Then the magnetic distortion vibration waves are produced at the coil 2 of medium 1a-1d. These vibration waves are transmitted along the lengthwise direction at a speed peculiar to the media 1a-1d respectively. Under this transmission, the mechanical energy is converted into the magnetic energy in response to the level of the electric- mechanical connection coefficient at the range of the media 1a-1d where the magnetic distortion vibration waves exist. Thus the induced electromotive force is produced at the 2nd coil 5.</p> |
