PURPOSE:To hasten the rise of the temperature of hot water in a bathtub when reheating the hot water as well as prevent the freezing of the body of the bath device and the pipe of water by enabling the apparatus to be operated even when no water or water is present in the bathtub. CONSTITUTION:A bath device body 1 is provided with a pump 7 by which to circulate water in a bathtub 2 through a heat exchanger 4 to heat it to hot water by burning of a burner 3 and to circulate hot water from the device body 1, a hot water pipe 5, and a hot water connection port 6 to the device body 1 and a flow rate switch 8 by which to operate the device when the circulating amount is reached a specified flow rate. Three-way valves 14 and 15 are provided to a forward pipe and a return pipe between the water connection port 6 and the device body 1, consisting of a hot water circuit through which hot water from the body is circulated to the port 6 in the bathtub 2 and a bypass hot water circuit 16 through which the hot water is circulated from the three-way valve 14 on the forward pipe to the three-way vale 15 on the return pipe side. These are operated in an interlocking manner with the operating switch 10a of a remote controller 10. |
