<p>PURPOSE:To enable heat treatment to be carried out effectively and safely by forming film like waste plastic preliminarily into pellets and further removing the oxygen or moisture, etc. contained in the pellets, when said plastic is supplied into heat treatment process from a feeder. CONSTITUTION:The film like waste plastic supplied into a device A is cut further finely between a rotary blade 3 and a stationary blade 4, and is heated by the friction heat between the rotary blade 3 and the stationary blade 4 and also the heat of a heating jacket 1, whereby said waste plastic is molten into viscous liquid state with the passage of time. Said molten plastic is cooled rapidly and solidified by throwing 2-3l coolant such as the water of liquid nitrogen, etc. contained in a coolant tank 17 into the device A from a throwing inlet 5, and simultaneously it is formed into specified pellets by the rotary blade 3 and the stationary blade 4. Said plastic in a hopper B is controlled to be heated at 90 deg.C by a heating jacket 7, and simultaneously the oxygen and moisture, etc. in the air contained in the pellet are removed, opening valves 8, 9 and enclosing sealingly only the inert gas such as nitrogen gas, etc. in the device B or enclosing nitrogen gas sealingly therein after evacuation.</p> |
