PREVENTER FOR STAINING BY INK ON PRINTING MATTER

PURPOSE:To prevent the staining of following printings by a method in which a DC duscharge electrode is provided in the face of a roller to be in contact by the face of a printing and fine particles of a substance incapable of adherence to ink are supplied into the electric field formed between the discharge electrode and the roller. CONSTITUTION:Fine water droplets 12 are supplied from nozzles 8 and 9 into an electric field formed between a discharge electrode 5 and an earthed roller 4. Electrons 11 to be generated in the electrodes 2 and 5 when applied with a DC high-tension voltage adhere to the water droplets 12 for form charged water droplets 12. The charged water droplets 12 are driven by strong electric field formed between the electrodes 2 and 5 and the earthed poles 3 and 4, and attracted by and collided with the roll 4 or a printing paper 1 to adhere to them. Even when the paper 1 is brought in contact by the roll 4, no adherence of ink to the roll 4 takes place because the ink is repelled by the thin film of fine water droplets.
