PURPOSE:To enable contact terminals of simple structure to be used, to prevent the conductor paths of a photosensitive body from damage, and to enhance reliability by forming on one side end of the photosensitive body an electrically conductive film composed of fine conductive particles and a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:The sheet-shaped photosensitive body 1 is prepared by forming an aluminum vapor deposited film 3 uniformly on the whole surface of a polyester film support 2, and on this film 3 a carrier generating layer 4 composed of a bisazo type pigment and a resin is uniformly formed by coating, a photosensitive layer 5 called by a carrier transfer layer is laminated by uniformly coating the layer 4 except one side end about 15mm. wide with a coating fluid contg. a carbazole deriv. dissolved in a polycarbonate resin soln. Such 2-layer structure of the layers 4, 5 has superior sensitivity as the sensitive body separated in photoconductive function. The conductive film 6 is laminated on the side end of the photosensitive sheet 1 by coating the layer 4 with a coating of the layer 4 with a coating fluid contg. fine carbon particles and a binder resin essentially consisting of an acrylic resin by the screen printing method. |
