PURPOSE:To atomize easily and optimally by narrowing the discharge part of high-pressure air from blower, providing a blowup pipe having a nozzle opened to said narrowed part, and making the distance between the narrowed part and the nozzle controllable. CONSTITUTION:A high-speed air curent from blower is sent to discharge pipe 10, a narrowed part 11 is provided close to the discharge end, and a discharge port 12 whose diameter is enlarged is furnished at the leading end of the pipe. A blowup pipe 14 is fixed to the discharge pipe 10, the nozzle part 15 at the leading end of the blowup pipe is positioned in the vicinity of the center of the narrowed part 11, and the base part is dipped in treated water in a mist generating vessel 8. The atomization is carried out easily and optimally by controlling the relative position between the narrowed part 11 and the nozzle 15.
