PURPOSE:To reduce the machining reaction and the load to the robot side through simple structure by pressng a resilient member toward a work along the machining reaction through the arm of robot at the end of supporting member for securing a tool not contactable with the work. CONSTITUTION:A tool holder 12 is mainly constructed with steel supporting member 15 and a resilient member 16 where the phases of the member 16 and the foot section 18 are shifted slightly. The tip of foot section 18 of the member 15 of holder 12 is contacted against a work 11 then the holder 12 is pressed toward the work 11 by means of a metal 22 at the tip of arm 14 to secure the holder 12 on the work 11 and to apply preload Q onto the holder 12. When boring by means of a drill 21, machining reaction P will function onto the drill 21 to extend the member 15 in the direction of machining reaction while to contract the member 16. The machining reaction p is distributed to the members 15, 16 in proportion to the spring factors K2, K1 to reduce the dynamic load to be applied onto the arm 14 thus to enable heavy work and precise work. |
