<p>PURPOSE:To enable the oil to be easily supplied without causing a chuck to worsen its clamping force, by fitting an oil supply device to be inserted into the main unit of the chuck and connecting one or several hollow holes with a supply oil port in an oil supplying ring to be combined with a supply oil hole. CONSTITUTION:After a chuck main unit 1 is fixed by fixing a tool and inserting a shank 2 into a main spindle in a machine tool, a supply oil pipe is further connected to a nipple of a supply oil threaded hole 12. While the main spindle, if it rotates, turns those excepting an oil supply device 10 by leaving it as prevented from rotating by a stopper, and the cutting tool starts cutting. And cutting oil, being allowed to flow into the nipple screwed into the threaded hole 12 from the supply oil pipe further delivered from a delivery port 22 via a lateral hole 9 and hollow holes 8, formed to an oil hole, from an annular oil groove 18, is sufficiently supplied to a cutting part. In this way, a chuck enables the oil to be injected even without a particular device only by connecting a part of the hollow hole with a supply oil hole of the oil supply device, further never reducing at all clamping force of the tool.</p> |
