PURPOSE:To easily perform quick shift-down by cutting of the transmission between a ring and the drive source of the ring friction-coupled with a cone rotor performing the planetary motion to vary the deceleration between the input/ output shafts via its shift in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A cone rotor 5 performing the planetary motion is provided between a small-diameter input disk 1 and a large-diameter output disk 2. A ring 7 varying the deceleration between the input/output shafts is friction-coupled slidably in the axial direction with the conical surface of the cone rotor 5. When an accelerator is abruptly depressed, a diaphragm 89 is lifted via the negative pressure of the intake pipe of an engine. Accordingly, the connection between the ring 7 and a drive motor 86 shifting the ring 7 in the axial direction is cut off by a clutch coupler 87, the ring 7 is quickly shifted to the high-deceleration ratio side via the rotating force of the cone rotor 5, and shift-down is performed. |
