PURPOSE:To perform both focusing and power variation through the same motor and to reduce the weight and cost of the lens driving device by providing a transmission switching means which transmits the rotation of the motor to either of a focusing and a power varying means. CONSTITUTION:A clutch changeover lever 37 is energized with a tension spring 40, so the tip of a changeover lever 37 is pressed as shown by an arrow 47, a clutch pulley 29 is rotatable together with a driving gear 24, and a focus ring 23 is rotated through the rotation of the motor 33, performing focusing operation. When a zoom switch 45 is operated to a side T (telephoto) during zooming operation, a control circuit 44 powers up a solenoid 46 and the motor 33 is driven in a specific direction. Thus, the solenoid 46 is powered on to rotate the clutch changeover lever 37 in the opposite direction of the arrow 47 against the energizing force of the tension spring 40, and the rotation of the motor 33 is transmitted to a zoom ring driving gear 27 to rotate the zoom ring 25 toward the telephoto side. |
