PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of a copying machine and to reduce the size of the machine by providing a counter which counts up when a copying button is operated and counts up the number of the operations when the copying button is operated during the copying operation. CONSTITUTION:A display device 2 for number of copies which displays digitally the set number of copies by means of light emitting diodes is installed to the operating part of the copying machine. A count-down key 6 which decreases the set number of copies, a repeat key 7 for copying operation, an erasing key 8 for the digital value displayed on the device 2 and the copying button 1 which starts the copying operation and sets the number of copies are installed to the right side of the operating part. The counter counts up and a 1 is displayed on the device 2 and at the same time the copying operation is started when the button 1 is once operated after electricity is conducted to the copying machine body to make the machine ready to operate. The counter counts up to set the number of copies at every time when the button 1 is operated during the copying operation. The operation is thus made simple and the size of the operating part is reduced. |
