PURPOSE:To obtain a steel sheet pile which is excellent in mechanical strength and durability and maintain corrosion resistance effectively for a long period in a manner with a good workability and cost accountability by providing a polyolefin sheet through the use of polyolefin adhesive powder to the steel sheet pile. CONSTITUTION:A steel sheet pile 2 is preheated by a preheater (an electric furnace, gas burner etc.) 4 up to the temperatures preferably 20-250 deg.C higher than the melting temperature of polyolefin for coating, and over the surface of the steel sheet pile 2 polyolefin adhesive powder is applied by a device 6 for powdered polyolefin coating or application (spreading, spraying electrostatic deposition and etc.), and a polyolefin sheet is provided thereupon and a pressure is applied thereto, or while the pressure is being applied, the adhesive polyolefin layer is cooled, and then, subject product having coating layer 11 is obtained. |
