PURPOSE:To make a type of packing ever so better as well as to eliminate any snapping of a wire rod in time of taking out, by controlling the reciprocating width up the wire rod as in almost nearly horizontality, in case of a wire rod winder. CONSTITUTION:In a wire rod winder, support members 7L and 7R, reverse detectors 9L and 9R and flange detectors 6L and 6r are set to a controller 12 in this way as in A1 before winding, in time of winding as in A2, A3 and A4 they are set to the flange side, and after winding a program shifting to the inside as in A5 is set to the controller, respectively. First, a bobbin 2 is raced by a support turning gear 3, nd these detectors 6L and 6R are inserted into an illustrated position. Traveling devices 8L and 8R are operated and movement of A1 takes place till these detectors 6L and 6R are turned to ON, then a wire rod 1 is pierced through a guide roller 4 and fed to the bobbin 2, while reciprocating width of the guide roller is controlled in conformity with the program so as to widen the width by degrees to the bobbin flange side at every several wind from little in an inner side of the flange of the bobbin 2 in the early state of winding the wire rod. |
