PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of analysis by providing a mechanism for controlling the flow rate of the carrier gas to be supplied to a nebulizer and a control circuit for impressing a control signal thereto and shifting vertically the temp. distribution of a plasma flame. CONSTITUTION:The gas in an inert gas cylinder 11 is branched and supplied as the plasma gas, cooling gas and carrier gas to be used for a plasma torch 10 and further the flow passage of the carrier gas is branched to plural passages. Pressure regulating valves 1b-1d set with respectively different pressures are provided to the branch passages and solenoid valves 4a-4c controlled by a microcomputer 6 are provided thereto. The names of the elements intended to be analyzed, etc. are preliminarily stored in the microcomputer 6. The corresponding solenoid valve is opened with each of the measuring elements to eject the carrier gas under the optimum pressure from the nebulizer 9 so as to suck and atomize a soln. sample 7, thereby shifting the temp. distribution of the plasma flame. |
