PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which plates both front and rear surfaces of a traveling metallic strip in optional positions by leading out a molten metal through the blow-off port and guide groove of a treating tank onto the surface of the strip and coating the other molten metal in a storage tank via a roller 18 onto the rear surface. CONSTITUTION:The 1st plating layer 11 is formed on the surface of the metallic strip 4 traveling on a supporting base 15 by the 1st treating device for plating which is provided with the blow-off port 12 for leading out the 1st molten metal 7 stored in the treating tank 8 and the guide groove 10 communicating therewith to the flat bottom part 9 of the treating tank 8 in contact with the strip 4. On the other hand, the 2nd plating layer 19 is formed on the rear surface of the strip 4 by the 2nd treating device for plating provided with the roller 18 which is dipped into the 2nd molten metal 16 stored in the storage tank 17 and contacts with the rear surface of the strip 4 while rotating at a prescribed rotating speed. The plating layers 11, 19 having desired width W1,2 and thickness t1,2 are simultaneously, efficiently and continuously formed in optional positions on both front and rear surfaces of the strip 4. |
