<p>PURPOSE:To prevent possible contamination by toner which is not fixed when removing jammed paper by allowing jammed paper which is not fixed to be fixed by half and taken out. CONSTITUTION:In case of jamming, each of components such as an exposing drum, a carrying belt, a fixing roller and others within an electrophotograph copying machine is suspended of their operation while a warning lamp for missfeeding comes on. After the door of the conpying machine being opened by an operator, jammed paper is placed on the carrying belt. Then the recorded paper which is not fixed and is under a condition of being placed between the fixing roller 1 and the carrying belt, is fed to the fixing roller 1 with a thumb nut 10 rotated allowing the paper to be fixed by accumulated heat of a lamp 2 and then to be taken out.</p> |
