PURPOSE:To perform operation control over an engine with an optimum excess air factor, by letting supply pressure for gas entering in an air-fuel mixture vary according to an operating state of the engine. CONSTITUTION:High pressure gas out of a gas cylinder or the like enters a gas pressure regulator 2 from a pipe 1, after being decompressed to the fixed pressure, and further decompressed to optional pressure with a gas pressure regulator 3 being regulated to the optional pressure, then mixed with air out of an air intake 5 in a gas mixture 4, thus it is fed to an engine via a suction manifold 6. The gas pressure regulator 3 is supplied with optional pressure air from an air reservoir 7 via an air pressure controller 8 of a servo valve or the like, and according to the air pressure, the gas pressure out of the gas pressure ragulator 3 is controlled. In response to a map or the like to be set according to output of an exhaust gas sensor of the engine or an engine operating state, the air pressure controller 8 is controlled, whereby the gas mixture of an optional excess air factor is fed to the engine. |
