<p>PURPOSE:To keep freshness of a large amount of food such as perishable edible meat, marine fishes and shellfishes, vegetables and fruits, defrosted foods of them, processed foods of them, etc., by applying negative charge to foods preserved at low temperature by electrostatic induction device. CONSTITUTION:For example, in a chilled storehouse, the metallic shelves 5 to place the foods 10-13, 16, and 17 are formed, the shelves 5 are partially covered with the electrical insulating plate 8, and the electrostatic induction device 2 is connected to the metallic shelves 5 in such a way that negative charge is introduced to the metallic shelves 5.
