PURPOSE:To carry intermittently a billet by collecting a prescribed quantity, by providing a detecting means for collecting the billet on a carrying means to a prescribed quantity and a stopper for controlling the billet fed out of a feed-out port by interlocking with said means, so that it can be fed out intermittently onto the carrying means. CONSTITUTION:A billet feed-out port 1a of a billet feeder 1, and a carrying means 4 for feeding a billet 2 fed out of its feed-out port 1a, into an induction heating coil 3 are provided on the same straight line. Also, this device is pro vided with a detecting means 10 for collecting the billet 2 on the carrying means to a prescribed quantity, and a stopper 5 for controlling the billet 2 fed out of the feed-out port 1a by interlocking with the detecting means, so that it can be fed out intermittently onto the carrying means 4. |
