PURPOSE:To improve quality of pictures by reducing amplitude of cathode rays by fixing only one terminal of non-organic anti-vibration lines arranged so as to suture cathode rays to a fixing seat and controlling the movement of the terminal with stop metal fittings. CONSTITUTION:Cathode rays 1 and a supporting rack 2 supporting the rays are placed in the high vacuum, and a back electrode 5 is disposed on the back side and control electrodes 3 and a luminophor 4 are disposed on the upper face to construct a picture display device. Glass fiber anti-vibration lines 6 are stretched so as to suture the rays 1 on the end portions of cathode rays 1 which give no influence to pictures, and only one terminal is fixed to a fixing seat 7, and stop metal fittings 8 are placed on plural positions to control the movement of the anti-vibration lines 6. Then, inspite of the high vacuum, damping effect due to phase shift between the anti-vibration lines 6 and the cathode rays 1 can be stabilized and swing of pictures and uneven brightness can be removed to obtain high quality pictures. |
