摘要 PURPOSE:To facilitate adjustment without contacting to a tuning bar by mounting a combination adjusting screw on a combination cavity resonator so that the electromagnetic wave energy passing the resonator is provided an angle of almost 45 deg. to the direction of propagation. CONSTITUTION:A klystron is constituted so that an electromagnetic wave energy is generated by an internal cavity resonator 1 by converting the direction of and electron from a cathode 4 by a reflection electrode 9 while accelerating the electron and that the energy is taken out to an external cavity resonator 2 through a combination cavity resonator 12. This time, the combination cavity resonator 12 is installed by tilting a combination adjusting screws 13 for obtaining maximum combination to the internal cavity resonator 1 at an angle of 75 deg., and mounted to the direction of propagation of the electromagnetic wave energy at an angle of about 45 deg.. Therefore, the screw 13' can be operated with a screw driver without contacting to a tuning bar 11 of the external cavity resonator 2 positioned on the lower portion, and adjusting work can be made smooth.
