PURPOSE:To produce a novel aminoacylase having high activity to decompose a specific aromatic amylamino acid and stable in alkaline pH range, by culturing a microbial strain belonging to Pseudomonas genus. CONSTITUTION:A microbial strain belonging to Pseudomonas genus and capable of producing a novel aminoacylase having high activity to decompose N- benzoylglycine and N-benzoyl-L-alanine, e.g. Pseudomonas sp. No.C684-2 (FERM P-7716), is cultured under aerobic condition at 15-37 deg.C and 5-8pH for 10-50hr, and the novel aminoacylase is separated mainly from the cultured microbial cells. |
