PURPOSE:To improve filling efficiency by making the cylindrical inner capacity of the rotary timing feeding supercharged air at the predetermined timing at a high load equal to the capacity subsequent to the timing valve of each intake passage in an engine provided with two intake valves for one cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Two intake valves 7, 9 re provided on one cylinder 6, and a switching valve 20 is opened when a throttle valve provided on a normally opened intake passage is opened to a predetermined quantity or ore. When the switching valve 20 is opened, the pressure air from a supercharger 18 is distributed and fed to each cylinder at the predetermined timing set by a rotary valve 26. The inner capacity of the rotary valve 26 is made equal to the inner capacity of an intake passage 17 from a rotary valve to the intake valve 9 for each cylinder. Accordingly, when the rotary valve is opened, the high-load air can be reliably fed to each cylinder. |
