PURPOSE:To easily change a travelling speed and a walking attitude, by providing a tilting means and a rotation driving means at each lower end of legs of a robot. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 2 is rotatably supported to a body of a robot in such a manner as to be leveled under a normal walking condition. A rotary disc 3 having a large movement of inertia is mounted to the rotary shaft 2. A pair of separate legs 4 and 5 are mounted to the body. At least one leg rising means 6 is provided. A body rotating means 7 is provided in the legs so as to rotate the body of the robot about the legs 4 and 5. A rolling preventing means 8 is provided at each lower end of the legs. Further, a tilting means 9 and a rotation driving means 10 are provided at each lower end of the legs. |
