PURPOSE:To record sound signals on one track for a relatively long time by FM modulating sound signals compressed with time axis and by overlapping and separating with the time burst signals, and by recording one sector at two or one rotation. CONSTITUTION:The sound signal which is compressed with time axis by a time axis compressor 4, 5 is supplied to an FM modulator 7 through the second switch 6. The FM modulated sound signal is supplied to a recording amplifier 9 through an adder 8, and after being amplified, supplied to a magnetic head 10 and recorded to a magnetic disc 11. The timing pulse gate, etc. generated by a timing pulse generator (TDG)12 is supplied to the 1st an 2nd time axis compressors 4, 5, etc., through a logical circuit 14. Reading out from the 1st and 2nd time axis compressors 4, 5 is done at the interval of each '525'+'1' H, therefore, recording of each one sector is done each time when the magnetic disc rotates two times. |
