The light admitting arcade structure is supported by an upright edge round an opening in a surface, having a profiled section running along the bottom edge to which arches are secured. Curved plates or panels are secured by clamping between members forming the arches and which are held in oblique positions by bolts turned in recesses in the members and forcing part of them into the recesses. A sealing or clamping profiled section covers the whole bottom edge.
