PURPOSE:To regulate compressor performance easily by changing the axial direction length of compression space by enabling to change the position of a cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:End blocks 5, 6 are fixed to both sides of a cylinder 1 and a piston 3 is made to slide in the cylinder 1. An absorbing hole 21 and a discharging hole 22 are provided on the end block 6, and pipes 25, 26 are respectively fixed to both the holes 21, 22 in parallel with the axial core of the cylinder 1. While, a cylinder head 15 is slidably provided in the cylinder 1 and through holes 23, 24 of the cylinder head 15 are slidably inserted in the pipes 25, 26. And the cylinder head 15 is designed so that the position is changed by a proper means such as a warm member 17 provided on the end block 6.
