PURPOSE:To make a construction of the captioned lamp easy for manufacture by serially connecting two inner tubes of three curved inner tubes through a glass tube for connection while their opening ends are made to be opposed to the opening end of another inner tube for forming a discharge path. CONSTITUTION:A bulb type fluorescent lamp is formed by arranging the curved inner tubes 3, 4 and 5 for defining a discharge path inside a gastight space between an outer tube 1 and a stem 2. Then the other end of the inner tube 3, whose one end has a sealed-in electrode 6, and one end of the inner tube 4 are connected through by glass welding at the connection part 9 while thereto the opening part 10 of the other end and the opening end 10 of the inner tube 5, whose one end has a sealed-in electrode 7, are opposed for being arranged while being connected through to the space inside the outer tube 1. Accordingly, the connection parts of the inner tubes are jointed without using special spacers by welding or the like while dividing the inner tubes into two so as to minimize connection parts for simplifying manufactureas well as making it small-sized and highly efficient. |
