PURPOSE:To enable a general subscriber to retrieve easily the subscriber number allocated to a subscriber terminal, by using a means which retrieves the subscriber number allocated to the corresponding subscriber terminal by the special number dialing done through the subscriber terminal. CONSTITUTION:When a subscriber 11 wants to know a subscriber number, the subscriber 11 is connected to a register 14 via a channel 19 after hook-off of the subscriber 11. The register 14 totalizes numeric character information given from the subscriber 11 and informs the result of this totalization to a central controller 16. The controller 16 discriminates the special number dialing for retrieval of the subscriber number and starts a memory 17 where an adverse development table for subscriber numbers is registered. Thus the subscriber number allocated to a subscriber circuit 12 is adversely developed. At the same time, a voice synthesizer 15 is started for transmission of the subscriber number developed adversely to the subscriber 11 in a synthetic sound. |
