PURPOSE:To eliminate insufficient fuel delivery due to influence of pressure control valve by setting specific relation between the delivery of fuel pump and the maximum delivery of injector thus producing pressure for compensating fuel pressure droppage in pressure control valve. CONSTITUTION:The fuel is pressure fed through a pump 15, a filter 16 and a piping 3 to an injector 2. The fuel pressure of injector 2 is controlled through a pressure control valve 17 coupled to the piping 3 to specific level while the fuel discharged from said valve 17 is returned through a piping 18 into a tank. The fuel injected through the nozzle of injector 2 is mixed with the intake air in air supply tube 7 then fed to an engine 11. here, the delivery of fuel pump 15 is set higher than 1.1 times of the maximum delivery of injector 2. Since such pressure as compensating the fuel pressure drop in pressure control valve 17 is achieved, insufficient delivery is eliminated. |
