<p>PURPOSE:To smoothly decelerate operating an induction motor at a variable speed by a variable voltage variable frequency inverter. CONSTITUTION:An induction motor is operated by a variable voltage variable frequency inverter at a variable speed. When a brake force command 4 is supplied by a brake handle, an electric brake force 12 is calculated by an electric brake force calculator 5, and output through a switch 6. The difference between the command 4 and the force 12 is calculated by a subtractor 10, and a necessary pneumatic brake force 11 is given. When a train speed becomes substantially zero, the force 12 immediately becomes 0, and the force 11 rises in the reduced amount. Since the train is already stopped at this time, there is no problem such as a shock at electric and pneumatic switching time.</p> |
