PURPOSE:To operate a generator efficiently all the time in spite of a seasonal variation in the quantity of water, by installing a storage pump which makes a part of the water used for power generation flow back so as to cause the water quantity to be fed to a hydraulic turbine to be held within the range of an effective water level. CONSTITUTION:A water gauge is installed in a water pocket 5, and its signal is transmitted to a revolving speed controller 11 for an electric motor 7 of a storage pump 6. And, a pump discharge to the water pocket 5 by the storage pump 6 is regulated whereby a water level in the water pocket 5 is kept up to the specified one. Therefore, even if an intrinsic water source quantity in the water pocket 5 decreases, the water quantity required for operating a generator 9 is securable for a hydraulic turbine 8, thus sufficient electric power is obtainable if watt consumption in the generator 7 of the storage pump 6 is subtracted. According to this method, the generator 9 is efficiently operatable all the time without being affected by variations in the water source quantity, thus water source energy is effectively utilizable. |
