PURPOSE:To prove a comfortable cat to ride by allowing a rear ground clearance to be raised when a front ground clearance is found to exceed the stated limit. CONSTITUTION:Signals from front ground sensors 1 and 2, and from a speed sensor 250 are inputted into ECU300 where data are processed and an average ground clearance VHF(CR) is computed so as to allow it to be compared with an existing ground clearance VHF(S). When the existing ground clearance is found to exceed the average one VHF(CR) by the stated level of h0, in order to overcome a rough road in a form of a succession of concaves and convexes, with solenoid valves 151a and 152a of leveling valves 151 and 152 energized, valves 151 and 152 are released allowing the air from a compressor 200b to be applied to rear wheel suspensions 3 and 4 so as to allow the rear ground clearance to be raised. This prevents the bottom of a car from being scratched allowing the contraction limit of the suspension to be raised providing a comfortable car to ride. |
