PURPOSE:To always obtain image with a high SN ratio in high spatial and time resolutions as well as a fluoroscopic image with a high SN ratio by changing the beam current according to the variable scanning mode. CONSTITUTION:Video signals from a TV camera 6 are displayed on a TV monitor 7, and simultaneously converted into digital signals by an A/D converter 8, and further into density information by a logarithmic converter 9. An imaging agent injector 19 injects the imaging agent in the vein. An X-ray images on a part concerning before the imaging agent arrives agent arrives and are recorded an image memory 11. Thereafter, the difference between both the signals is figured out, subjected to image emphasis, gamma conversion, etc. in the image processing section 13, converted into analog signals in the D/A converter 14 and displayed on the TV monitor 15. The number of picture elements and frames to be taken in, beam current, etc. are then set according to the mode as the mode is designated by the operator for display on the control section 17.
